鹦鹉啄金桃，典出杜甫《山寺》，诗中有“麝香眠石竹，鹦鹉啄金桃”句。古人视鹦鹉为良禽，能学舌，亦有德有义福寿，又，鹦鹉谐音“英武”。明早期此为经典纹饰，1982年景德镇曾出土直径71公分的宣德青花鹦鹉啄金桃大盘，本藏品应是其缩小版。盘心绘桃枝遒劲，上挂四枚实桃，一双鹦鹉佇立枝头，一回首，一啄桃，栩栩如生。王士性《广志绎》中记：“二窑（宣、成）皆当时殿中画院人遣画也”，此图案由御用画师提供样稿。又，本藏品器型规整，线条流畅饱满，釉水温润，精品也。

The parrot pecks the golden peach, which is a classic of Du Fu's "Mountain Temple". The poem has the sentence "musk sleeping dianthus, the parrot pecks golden peach". The ancients regarded parrots as good birds and learned tongues. They also have good virtues and good fortunes. In addition, the parrot is a homophonic "Yingwu". This is a classic decoration in the early Ming Dynasty. In 1982, a large dish of Xunde blue and white parrot pecking gold nectar was unearthed in Jingdezhen in 1982. This collection should be a reduced version. Panxin painted peach branches are strong, with four solid peaches hanging on it, a pair of parrots standing on their branches, looking back, and pecking peaches, lifelike. In Wang Shixing's "Guang Zhiyi", "The two kilns (Xuan and Cheng) were all painted by the paintings at the palace at that time." This pattern was provided by the royal artist as a sample. In addition, the collection has a regular shape, smooth and full lines, warm glaze, and fine products.
