磁州窑系宋代北方著名窑系，其最有代表性的瓷器是白地黑彩剔刻纹饰，黑白分明，视觉震撼。本藏品白地开光，分別刻有两个各具姿态的童子执莲纹，胖乎乎的躯体、颇大的脑袋各占一边的画面，既淳朴又气势宏伟，极具视觉冲击力。其制作工艺繁复，先要在素坯施一层白色化妆土，待其干再施黑釉彩，在黑彩欲干未干时刻出图案，用刀极简，廖廖数刀刻出童子形象及其他纹样，然后把纹样外的黑彩剔除，露出白地。剔时要把握好分过：过轻，白地不露；过重，损及白地，故均由工匠人中的大师操刀。磁州窑白地黑彩多见于花卉，人物纹甚少，本藏品实为罕见之琢器。

Cizhou Kiln is a famous northern kiln in the Song Dynasty. Its most representative porcelain is black and white engraved patterns on white ground, clear black and white, and visually stunning. This collection is brightly lit, with two sculpted boys with lotus postures, chubby bodies, and large heads on each side, which are both simple and magnificent, and have great visual impact. The production process is complicated. First, apply a layer of white cosmetic clay on the blank, and then apply black glaze when it is dry. When the black color is dry, use a knife to create a pattern. Other patterns, then remove the black color outside the pattern to expose the white ground. When picking, you must grasp the points: too light, and the white ground is not exposed; too heavy, damage the white ground, so they are operated by the masters of the craftsmen. The black and white color of Cizhou Kiln is more common in flowers and there are very few characters. This collection is a rare artifact.
