自官窯燒成以來，南宋時人已不吝撰文褒揚其美。官窯史上重要，但南宋官窯器之奧妙底細，卻不如同代他窯般為人通曉。南宋官瓷，傳世品稀如麟角，而且形制每每不一，各具雅韻。
本瓶疊施釉，或逐層罩塗、數度窯燒方成，故釉質豐厚，潤若凝脂，色呈青灰，柔光婉約。胎骨線條簡約，外罩厚釉，撫之觸感溫軟。窯燒時，胎、釉冷縮程度不均，釉面開裂，形成開片。本品開片疏朗自然，可見冷卻工夫掌握得宜，繼而潤其色，彷佛瓊玉整塊琢成。足底青釉流敞，黑褐胎骨若隱還現，釉色更顯層次、形添沉穩。          Since the burning of the official kiln, people in the southern song dynasty have been generous to write articles praising its beauty.
