此扁壺器型取靈感自十五世紀早期經典，而以點染積釉技法點飾圖紋則效該時期之青花結晶黑斑。清朝藝匠以鈷料點飾，仿效早明青花鐵斑特征。扁圓器型、束頸、雙壺耳，均取自早明雛本。
