玉猪龙取青白质玉料，通体呈青白色，本器受风化，局部呈白化后之黄土沁，肥首大耳，三角形切口不切透内圆，身体首尾相连，成团状卷曲，背部对钻圆孔，面部以阴刻线表现眼圈、皱纹，头部上耸成鬣或角，嘴部前伸上噘，整器似猪的胚胎。整体卷曲呈“C”形，刚劲有力，显现腾云驾雾的动感。玉猪龙是龙与猪的结合体，而得猪龙之名，这是中国最早出现的龙形图腾器物，表达了先民祈求风调雨顺、五谷丰收的愿望。
