此套朝珠由上等翡翠制成，由108粒珠贯穿而成，每隔27粒穿入一红珠，其直径比朝珠大一倍左右，其将朝珠一份为四，寓意四季轮转。朝珠顶首设“佛头塔”，其后用阔丝带系坠子，末端再系宝石，是为“背云”，“佛头塔”两侧缀有三串小珠，每串小珠十粒，名为“纪念”。佩戴时一侧缀两串，另一侧缀一串，两串者男在左，女在右。朝珠是清朝礼服的一种佩挂物，挂在颈项垂于胸前。由于清朝皇帝笃信佛教，凡皇帝、后妃、文官五品及武官四品以上，另外侍卫和京官等，均可佩挂朝珠，并且可作为皇帝所赏赐之物品。
